News to Use from RQ November 21st
Posted by KJCB on November 21, 2019
We're headed into the last few days of November 2019! Be on the lookout for your newsletter to arrive a day early next week...we'll be closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th for Thanksgiving. As the self-designated "Thanksgiving Chef" of my family, I will be busy preparing food during my normal "newsletter writing time" so you'll see your News to Use a day early. :) On to the news...
Kimberbell Demo December Coming to RQ
We're excited to participate in Kimberbell's Demo December where you can receive the wall hanging design and fabric kit FREE! What do you need to do to receive this FREE design and fabric kit? Come into RQ on the three designated "demo days" to hear a short presentation on our newest Kimberbell products, and receive a portion of the fabric kit. On the third and final day, bring in a USB stick to have the FREE design loaded on your stick (available as a machine embroidery or sewing version). Fabric in kits will be similar to those seen above. Embellishments available for purchase separately. Mark the dates listed below on your calendar and give yourself a present!
Featured Future Block of the Month
We're bringing the 1930s back to RQ with a new BOM: Aunt Grace Blue Ribbon. This quilt designed by Cindy Staub features Aunt Grace prints by Judie Rothermel for Marcus Fabrics. A pre-printed and full color panel is used in the quilt and is great for hand embroidery or embellishment! Not feeling that creative? Leave it as is for a cute retro look and let the piecing show it off. Finished size is approximately 57" x 69" and the project is expected to begin in April 2020. Sign-up for the 6 month BOM or pre-order your full kit today!
What's New at RQ
Memoirs by 3 Sisters for Moda Fabrics is now in stock at RQ. We have a select number of skus available now (some are being reserved for the Sweet Sampler BOM). We expect the precuts and extra wide backings to be in stock within the next couple of weeks. With the skus available, we've kitted the Memoirs project sheet from Moda (featured above)!
Urban Reflections by Edward Selkirk for Northcott features the digitally printed panel above as the focus. Earthy tones and great textures in the coordinates make this collection worth a look. We'll be kitting the Metropolis Kit which is available with the panel as a centerpiece or without.
Kiwiberry Tonga Batiks by Timeless Treasures are our newest batik collection. Purples and greens with just a touch of aqua pack a punch of color. Grab a Treat Strip Jr. or Shortcake to bring home a piece of each fabric sku. We're also kitting two projects: Pineapple Party and Berry Charming!
BERNINA Annual Swissmas Includes Financing!
Be sure to stop into RQ before the end of November to take advantage of the 60 Month Same-As-Cash financing offer on your next BERNINA! While the machine specials continue through the end of the year, this 60 Month financing is only available until November 30th. Take home a B770QE (our most popular machine for quilters and machine embroiderers) to finish those last minute Christmas and holiday projects!

Did You Know?
We're now collecting stockings and stocking stuffers for our annual Stocking Drive! Many of you have participated (even by mail!) in years past and we (and the recipients!) greatly appreciate your support. For those who may not know, we collect new fabric Christmas stockings (any size, color) and fill them with small items which are then donated to our local food pantry during the holiday season. It has been a huge hit since its inception, and this year the food pantry staff called to see if we would be doing it again! Stocking stuffer ideas include small toys, hygiene products (combs, hair baubles, hand lotion, chap stick), gloves, socks, art supplies, etc. NO food or candy please. A great idea would be to take your own young ones shopping and let them choose some items to donate. We will be taking the stuffed stockings to the food pantry on December 10th so please plan to drop items off the week before if you'd like to participate. If sending via US Mail, please send to PO Box 453, Rossville, IN. 46065. Thank you!
