Happy (early) Mother's Day to all! We had a celebration of Mother's at our BOM meeting last Saturday with our annual carry-in. We shared a variety of good food and stories of our Mothers and families. Thank you to all who were able to come and share!

What's New at RQ
Blue and yellow is a timeless classic! Ink flowers by Ninola Desigs for P & B Textiles is our newest digitally printed collection. The main focus prints feature a floral design that increases in size across the width of the fabric which increases your design options! The Ink Flowers Kit (featured above) uses Suede coordinates for the sashing and borders.
This collection has been at RQ for a couple months but now is it's time to shine for summer! Sweet Tea by Sweetwater for Moda Fabrics is a red, blue and taupe collection that is perfect for picnic gear. Checks, polka dots, stripes, textures, and old-fashioned food advertisements are all included. We have 20 skus on the bolt and in fat quarters. This collection brought the Honey Bun (1 1/2" x wof strips) back to RQ for use in the Cobblestone Kit. Jelly rolls, layer cakes, and charm packs also in stock.
Are the roses in your garden blooming yet? A Festival of Roses by Jackie Robinson for Benartex celebrates these beauties on fabric. The detail is amazing and enhanced with pearlescence on select skus. A variety of quilt kits are available to support this collection, including Midnight Noon (featured above). Think of the possibilities with that border stripe, available in light green or black!
We're going to slip one 2019 Christmas collection in this week: Christmas Magic by Amanda Murphy for Contempo was the first to arrive at RQ. This group features a modern take on traditional holiday themes. How much fun is the Christmas Magic Sampler Quilt (featured above, available with red or green borders)?!? Amanda Murphy has also created a tree skirt pattern using Christmas Magic. In addition to yardage and fat quarters we have Christmas Magic Strip-pies (2 1/2" x wof strips) in stock.

Did You Know?
At RQ our kits are one of our top selling items and have increased in popularity more and more over the last few years. Charlotte and Sally are frequently busy cutting and attractively wrapping kits when they aren’t assisting a customer in the shop. Sometimes we have people ask us to sell a kit without the pattern, as they’ve already purchased the pattern. In this case, please use your pattern’s requirement list and order the pieces you need separately. Since our kits are all ready to go out the door when Sally finishes wrapping them, selling without the pattern means lots of re-doing and possibly not having a kit ready to go for the next customer. If you need help deciphering the requirements or the amounts, just give us a call or ask in the shop and we are happy to help you. Thanks for your understanding!
