News to Use from RQ December 19th
Posted by KJCB on December 19, 2019
We concluded our Kimberbell Demo December Series this past Saturday, December 14th. After three weeks of attending brief demonstrations, participants received a FREE fabric kit and design to make a Kimberbell Winter Wall Hanging! We randomly selected a punch card from those participants at all three sessions and Brenda N. will receive a $25 RQ Gift Card! Congrats Brenda and thanks to all who attended!
There will not be a News to Use next week due to the Christmas holiday. Remember that we will be closing at Noon on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day and December 26th. We'll be back in the store on December 27th. Your next newsletter will hit your email inboxes in 2020!! On to the news...

What's New at RQ
No this isn't a crazy photo mashup...these are two NEW panels from the One of a Kind collection by Windham Fabrics! The Pair of Horses is a panel of approximately 35" x 42" featuring two beautifully realistic horses. The second panel features Mount Rushmore with all four presidents in their stoic glory (approximately 35" x 42"). These are definitely "one of a kind!"
Richmond c. 1862 by Nancy Gere for Windham Fabrics has arrived at RQ. This Civil War Reproduction collection features shades of navy, aubergine, ivory and charcoal in the large floral focus prints. Be sure to also check out the smaller florals, viney stripes, and geometric blenders in the group. We're offering two kits using Richmond fabrics: the Colonial Court Kit (featured above) and the Anna's Path (log cabin style) Kit.
If you're ready to think spring, then Butterfly Garden by Cheryl Haynes for Benartex may be your next project! This collection features bicycles, flower pots, butterflies, plaids, and small florals in soft, spring hues. The panel (seen above) would make a great door hanging on its own or cut apart the blocks and work them into a quilt top. Butterfly Garden won't be making an appearance on store shelves until this year's holiday fabric goes away after Christmas, but it is in stock! And we have strip-pies for all you 2 1/2" wide strip lovers!
